Working with Dr. Kathy Stitts through the Provost’s Leadership program and her advancement sessions when I first became an interim chair shaped my approach to leadership. She helped me recognize that leading with authenticity, care, and collaboration is not only effective but deeply impactful. Her example continues to guide how I build community and foster trust in academic leadership.
